Their rate of divorce was 3.3% in 2009 but now stands at 2.7% in 2018. Experts say that this shows an overall downward trend in military divorce rates. Unfortunately, female service members are more likely to experience a divorce, with their divorce rate standing at 6.3% in 2018.
